Holidaymakers planning city breaks, families planning around children's routines, honeymooners, groups who need a shared plan, and road trippers. Teachers and group leaders planning school trips use it as a simple daily plan to share with parents and helpers.
Getting the most from a travel itinerary.
Fill the overview first
Flights, accommodation and budget shape everything else. Get confirmation numbers and times on the overview before planning days.
One big thing per half-day
Plan one main activity for each morning and afternoon. Leave space to wander; packed itineraries are exhausting.
Use the food row
Book restaurants worth booking and note cafés or markets near each day's plans.
Group by area
Put sights that are close together on the same day to cut travel time.
Keep a copy offline
Print the pages or keep the PDF on your tablet so you have them without signal.
Add opening times and bookings
Write opening hours, closing days and booking references next to activities. It saves arriving at a closed museum on a Monday.

About this travel itinerary template
Need help importing it? See devices and apps or the FAQ.
How many days does the itinerary cover?
Seven days on one page. For longer trips, print a page for each week.
What's on the trip overview?
Destination, dates, travelling with, budget, flights and stay, plus a two-column must-see-and-do checklist.
Can I use it for a road trip?
Yes. Use each day for a stop, and write driving times in the morning or evening rows.
What's in the travel planner?
Trip overview, itinerary, packing list, travel budget and trip memories pages, plus gratitude and an about-me page.
How detailed should an itinerary be?
Enough to know what's booked and where you're going each day, with space for spontaneity. One main plan per half-day works well.
Can I share it with travel companions?
Yes. Share the PDF or a photo of the page so everyone knows the plan and booking details.
