Getting the most from a national parks checklist.
Fill in the parks you want first
Start with the parks on your wish list, grouped by region. It makes it easier to plan trips that take in several.
Stamp or sticker
Use the stamp column for a park passport stamp, a sticker or a doodle.
Record the date
The date column turns the list into a record of your adventures over the years.
Plan by season
Some parks are best in certain seasons and some roads close in winter. Note the best months next to each park.
Use it for any parks
State parks, national parks abroad or local nature reserves all work.
Note entry fees and passes
Some parks need timed entry or reservations in busy seasons. Write requirements next to each park when you plan a trip.

Around 25 rows on the printable versions. Use three pages for a full US list.
Is there a page for each visit?
The national parks planner includes park trip planners, hike logs and park visit pages for that.
Can families use it?
Yes. Kids enjoy filling in the stamp column.
Can I use it for a park passport?
Yes. The stamp column is there for passport cancellation stamps, stickers or a quick sketch.
Can I track parks outside the US?
Yes. The list is blank, so write any parks in any country.
