Terms of service

The rules for using Custom Digital Planner, written to be read. The short version: preview before you pay, planners are for your own use unless you're on the Seller plan, and cancel subscriptions any time.

Last updated 5 November 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use customdigitalplanner.com (“the site”), run by Custom Digital Planner (“we”, “us”). By using the site, building a planner or buying anything, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make a significant change we'll update the date at the top of this page, and where it matters, tell account holders by email. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

2. What we provide

The site lets you design a custom planner and download it as a PDF file, add hyperlinks to a PDF you designed yourself, and, on some plans, make planners to sell. Planners are generated on our servers from the settings you choose. You can preview a watermarked version before paying.

Planners are digital files. We don't send physical products, and the note-taking apps and devices you use them with are made by other companies and aren't part of what you buy.

3. Your account

You can build and preview without an account. To download, save planners or subscribe, you need one, created with your email and a password or by signing in with Google.

  • Give a real email address you can access, so we can send receipts and help you with your purchases.
  • Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or use the site with a parent or guardian's permission.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it removes your saved planners and cancels any active subscription.

4. Prices and payments

Current prices are shown on the pricing page. At the time of writing they are:

  • Single Planner: $9, a one-time payment for one planner.
  • Pro: $29 a year, renewing automatically.
  • Seller: $19 a month, renewing automatically.
  • Hyperlink one planner: $5 per PDF.

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added where required. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. If we change a subscription price, the new price applies from your next renewal after we've told you about it.

5. Subscriptions and cancelling

Pro and Seller renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Planners you downloaded while subscribed are yours to keep for personal use. Commercial rights under the Seller plan work as described in the commercial licence.

6. Refunds

Because you can preview the whole planner before paying, we don't offer refunds for a change of mind. If a link or page is broken and we can't fix it, email us within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full. The refund policy has the details. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

7. What you can do with your planners

Personal use. Planners you make on the Single Planner or Pro plans, and files from the hyperlink tool, are for your own personal use. You can use them on all your own devices, print them for yourself and make backup copies. You can't sell, share or give them away as files, or upload them for others to download.

Commercial use. Selling planners is only allowed on the Seller plan and under the terms of the commercial licence.

Our materials. The page designs, layouts, themes, cover art, software and site content belong to us or our licensors. Buying a planner gives you a licence to use it as described above, not ownership of the underlying designs or software.

8. Your content

You own what you put into a planner, such as your name, goals, habits and notes, and any PDF you upload to the hyperlink tool. You give us permission to process it only as needed to build, preview and deliver your files and run your account.

Only upload PDFs you have the right to use. Don't upload anything illegal, or material that infringes someone else's rights.

9. AI goal planning

Goal planning is optional. When you use it, the goals you type are sent to Google's Gemini API to suggest monthly milestones, weekly actions and monthly mottos. AI suggestions can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for you. Read and edit them before you download, and use your own judgement.

Suggestions are general planning help, not professional advice. For health, money, legal or other important decisions, talk to a qualified professional. Daily limits apply to AI use on each plan.

10. Acceptable use

  • Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits or security of the site.
  • Don't scrape the site, or use automated tools to generate planners in bulk outside the features we provide.
  • Don't resell access to your account or share a subscription with people outside it.
  • Don't use the site for anything illegal.

11. Compatibility and availability

Planners are standard PDF files with internal links. They're designed for the apps and devices listed on our devices and apps page, but other companies control those apps and change them over time, so we can't guarantee every feature works the same way in every version.

We work to keep the site running and your saved planners safe, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep a copy of the files you download.

12. Liability

The site and planners are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost profits or missed plans, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing paid files publicly or misusing the commercial licence. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time.

14. Contact
