Refunds

Refund policy

Planners are instant downloads you can preview in full before paying. If something's broken and we can't fix it, you get your money back.

Last updated 5 November 2026

The short version

  • Preview first. You can flip through your whole planner, links included, before you pay.
  • Broken file, full refund. If a link or page is broken and we can't fix it, email us within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full.
  • No refunds for a change of mind, because the planner is an instant download you've already seen.
  • Cancel subscriptions any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

When we'll refund you

Email us within 14 days of your purchase if your file has a problem like one of these, and we can't fix it:

  • Tabs, dates or other links don't go to the right page, or don't work at all in a supported app.
  • Pages are missing, blank or display incorrectly.
  • The file won't download or open in a supported app on a supported device. See the devices and apps page.
  • You were charged twice for the same thing, or charged after cancelling.

Most problems can be fixed quickly, often by downloading the right size for your device, switching your app out of pen mode to tap links, or regenerating the file. We'll try that with you first. If it can't be fixed, we refund the purchase in full.

When we don't refund

  • You changed your mind after downloading, or bought by mistake when the preview showed what you'd get.
  • You chose a size or option that doesn't suit your device. Instead, we'll help you download the right one; a single planner purchase lets you edit and re-download that planner.
  • An app or device that isn't on our supported list doesn't follow PDF links.
  • The request is more than 14 days after purchase, unless the law where you live gives you longer.

Subscriptions

Pro ($29 a year) and Seller ($19 a month) renew automatically. Cancel any time from your account page. You keep everything your plan includes until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

We don't give partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period. If you were charged for a renewal you didn't expect and haven't used the plan since, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll look at it.

Planners you've already downloaded are yours to keep. For sellers, items you sold while subscribed stay licensed, as explained in the commercial licence.

The hyperlink tool has a free watermarked preview, so you can check every link before paying $5. If the downloaded file doesn't match the preview, or links you set up don't work in a supported app and we can't fix it, the same 14-day refund applies.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Email hello@customdigitalplanner.com from the address on your account, or use the contact form.
  2. Tell us what you bought, the app and device you're using, and what's wrong. A screenshot helps.
  3. We'll reply, usually within one or two working days, and either fix the file or refund you.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. They usually appear within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.

Your legal rights

This policy doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law where you live. If the law gives you a stronger right to a refund, that applies.
