Commercial licence for sellers

What you can do with planners made on the Seller plan. In short: sell finished planners in your own shop, as many times as you like while you're subscribed, but not editable templates or resell rights.

Last updated 5 November 2026

At a glance

You can

  • Sell planners you generate on the Seller plan as digital downloads, in your own shop on Etsy, Shopify, Gumroad, your own site or similar
  • Sell them as printed products: printed planners, inserts and bound books
  • Unlimited sales of each planner, for as long as you're subscribed
  • Put your own shop name on the cover, and use the mockup images and listing text we generate
  • Use the included cover art inside the planners you sell
  • Offer bundles to end customers, such as iPad and Android versions together, or a planner with its sticker book

You can't

  • Sell or share planners as editable templates or source files, such as Canva or Keynote templates or layered design files
  • Sell bundles, packs or licences meant for other people to resell ("PLR", "resell rights", "MRR")
  • Claim you made the generator, or offer planner generation as a service using our tool
  • Sell or give away the cover art, stickers or page designs on their own, outside a planner
  • Sell planners made on the Single Planner or Pro plans, or with someone else's account

Who this licence covers

This licence applies to planners and sticker books you generate while you have an active Seller subscription ($19 a month), including hyperlinked PDFs you make with the hyperlink tool on that plan. It's granted to the account holder: you, or the business you run the account for.

Planners made on the Single Planner or Pro plans are for personal use only, as explained in the terms of service. Upgrading later doesn't make earlier personal-use files sellable; generate them again while on the Seller plan.

Selling to your customers

You may sell each planner you generate an unlimited number of times, as a finished product for your customers' own use. Your customers get a personal-use licence from you. You set your own prices, and you're responsible for your listings, customer support, taxes and following the rules of the marketplace you sell on.

Your customers must receive the planner as a finished PDF or printed product. Delivering it in a form that lets them edit the underlying design and resell it isn't allowed.

If you cancel

Items you sold while subscribed stay licensed. Your customers can keep using what they bought, and you don't need to take anything back.

To keep selling new copies after your subscription ends, you need an active Seller subscription again. When you cancel, remove or pause listings for planners made with the plan by the end of your final billing period.

Cover art and designs

The cover illustrations, themes and page layouts are part of the generator. You can use them inside the planners you sell, including on the cover and in mockup images that show the planner. You can't sell them separately, for example as prints, clip art, stickers, backgrounds or design assets, or use them as your shop's logo or branding.

Because other sellers can also use the same themes and covers, you don't get exclusive rights to them, and you can't register them as your own trademark or design.

Being honest with buyers

Describe your planners accurately: what's inside, which apps and devices it works with, and that it's a digital download if it is. Some marketplaces, including Etsy, have rules about disclosing how items are made, including the use of AI tools. Follow the rules of the marketplace you sell on.

The AI-written listing text is a starting point. Check it before you publish, and don't add reviews, discounts or claims that aren't true.

If the licence is misused

If you break this licence, for example by reselling editable templates, we may end your Seller plan and the licence for future sales, and ask you to remove listings that break these terms. Sales already made in good faith to your customers stay licensed for those customers.
