Who it's for
High school students tracking grades for college applications, college students watching their GPA for scholarships, and parents who want to see progress through the year.
Getting the most from a grade tracker.
Write every grade as soon as you get it
Grades come back at random times. Writing them in straight away saves digging through emails and portals at the end of term.
Note the weighting
If the exam is worth 50 percent and each test 10 percent, write the weights under the column headings. It shows where effort pays off most.
Work out what you need
Before the final exam, use your current grades to work out the score you need for your target. It turns a vague worry into a number.
Calculate GPA each term
On the GPA page, multiply each course's grade points by its credits, add them up and divide by total credits. Keep cumulative GPA updated as you go.
Talk to a teacher early
If a subject is slipping after the first test, ask for help then. The tracker makes it obvious before it's too late.
