Getting the most from a interview prep worksheet.
Research beyond the website
In "what they do", note recent news, products, customers and challenges. It gives you specific things to say and ask.
Write three to five stories
Use situation, action, result for each. Pick stories that show skills from the job description: leadership, problem-solving, conflict, a mistake you fixed.
Make "why this role" specific
Connect what they need with what you've done and what you want next. Generic answers are easy to spot.
Prepare three questions
Ask about the team, how success is measured, and what the first 90 days look like. Avoid questions the website answers.
Fill in "how it went" straight after
Note the questions you were asked and what you'd say differently. It improves every interview after this one.
Rehearse your stories aloud
Say each story out loud in about two minutes. You'll find what to cut and you'll sound more natural in the interview.
