Block longer services
Draw a line through all the slots a long service takes, so you don't double-book the next hour.
Mark breaks and closed days
Shade lunch, admin time and days off first. They're the slots most likely to get booked over.
Confirm the day before
Each afternoon, read tomorrow's column and send reminders. A tick next to the name means confirmed.
Keep the week's page open
On a tablet, keep this week's page pinned. On paper, use a clip so it opens at the right week.
Keep a cancellation list
Write clients who want an earlier slot in the margin. When someone cancels, you can fill the gap with one call.
