Getting the most from a 90-day plan.
Choose one goal for the 90 days
Ninety days is long enough to make real progress on one thing and short enough to stay focused. If you have three goals, pick the one that would make the others easier and give it this page.
Set the month 3 milestone first
Decide what has to be true at the end, write it as the month 3 milestone, then work back to months 2 and 1. It keeps the early months from being vague.
Give each week a single focus
The 13-week table has one line per week. Write what that week is for, like "draft chapter 2" or "three gym sessions", not a list. Tick the box on Sunday if you did it.
Leave week 13 for review
Use the last week to finish, catch up and reflect rather than planning new work in it. Most quarters need a spare week somewhere.
Start any time
A quarter doesn't have to start in January, April, July or October. Write your own start and end dates and begin this Monday.

What is a 90-day plan?
A plan for one goal over about thirteen weeks, broken into monthly milestones and weekly focuses. It's popular for business goals, fitness, new jobs and anyone who finds yearly goals too far away to act on.
Can I use it for a new job (30-60-90 day plan)?
Yes. Use the three monthly milestone boxes for your 30, 60 and 90 day goals, and the weekly lines for what you'll learn or deliver each week.
Why thirteen weeks?
Ninety days is just under thirteen weeks, and a year has four of them. Planning by week keeps each step small enough to finish.
What does the 90-day planner add?
Four quarters, each with a vision page, thirteen weekly pages, a habit tracker, a mid-quarter check and a quarter review, all linked from the side tabs.
