Who it's for
Couples planning their own wedding, parents contributing to a wedding who want to see the numbers, and wedding planners who want a simple client budget sheet.
Getting the most from a wedding budget.
Agree the total first
Decide the total budget with your partner and anyone contributing before you book anything. Write it at the top of the page.
Fill the budget column before you get quotes
Split the total across your list of items. Then, when quotes come in, you'll know straight away whether they fit.
Track deposits separately
Deposits are often non-refundable and due early. The deposit column shows how much is already committed.
Leave a buffer
Keep around 5 to 10 percent unallocated for things nobody thinks of: alterations, tips, extra postage, last-minute guests.
Note final payment dates
Write due dates next to each item, or on the day-of timeline, so final balances don't all land in the last week.
Included in 3 planners
This template is a page in each of these planners. Open one to see everything else that comes with it.
Get it inside a full hyperlinked planner
The wedding planner includes this page alongside dated month and week pages for your year, with side tabs and links between every page. Pick your device and theme, preview it free, and pay only when it's right.

What should a wedding budget include?
Venue, catering, drinks, attire, rings, photography, video, flowers, music, cake, stationery, transport, hair and makeup, favours, gifts, the honeymoon and a buffer. Write each as a row.
How many items fit on the page?
Around 25 rows on the printable versions. Use two pages for large weddings.
Does it use a currency?
No currency is printed, so it works anywhere.
What else is in the wedding planner?
A wedding checklist, this budget, a guest list, vendor contacts and a day-of timeline, plus dated monthly and weekly pages up to the big day.
What's a typical wedding budget split?
Venue and catering usually take the largest share, often around half. Photography, attire, flowers and music come next. Your own priorities should decide the rest.
Should we track gifts and contributions?
Yes. Add rows for family contributions as negative costs, or keep a separate list, so you know the true total you're paying.
