Your goal
Follow my rules on every trade for a month
Your goal
Log every trade the same day
Your goal
Cut losing trades at my stop every time
Fill in the trading plan: markets, timeframes, risk per trade, the setups you take and the rules you won't break.
The monthly trade log has date, ticker, long or short, entry, exit, size, P/L, setup and how you felt.
The 'before every trade' checklist covers setup, stop loss, position size and revenge trading.
The weekly review asks for trades taken, win rate, net P/L, best and worst trade, rules broken and one change for next week.
Monthly reviews and goal pages show whether you're trading your plan, not just whether you made money.
A trading journal template should make honest review easy. This one includes:
Dated month calendars and a weekly page for each week, for earnings dates, economic releases and days you plan not to trade. No daily pages.
A trading plan and rules page with a pre-trade checklist, a trade log for every month and a weekly trading review.
A monthly budget, expense log and bill tracker, so trading capital stays separate from the money you live on.
A vision board, goal planners, quarterly reviews and a year in review.
A monthly review page for what worked, what didn't and what to change.
Every section can be switched off in the builder, and sections from other planners can be added.
A digital trading journal sits beside your charts on a tablet, and you can paste screenshots of entries and exits onto the review pages.
Printed, the rules page is worth keeping at your desk where you'll see it before every trade.
One goal, followed through a single week. The milestone and weekly actions are the kind of lines the AI goal step writes onto your month and week pages; the daily notes are what you add by hand.

No. You write the numbers in. The weekly review has fields for number of trades, win rate and net P/L, which most brokers show in their reports.
You can build this trading journal and flip through every page in your browser for free, with a watermark. The tabs and links work in the preview, so you can check the layout before you pay. The clean PDF is $12 once, or included in Pro at $49 a year for unlimited planners. There is no free download of the full planner.

Dated by default, starting in January 2027. You can pick any start month and year (including this month), a length from 3 months to 5 years, and Monday or Sunday weeks. Or switch to undated and write the dates in yourself, so a skipped week isn't wasted.
Only the goal parts, and only if you want it to. Type up to six goals and the AI writes a milestone for each month and a short action for each week onto your month and week pages, plus a motto for each month. You can edit every line before you download. Everything else, from the calendar pages to the trackers, is yours to fill in by hand. You can try it 3 times a day without an account.
With the default settings it comes to about 214 pages. That includes 12 month pages, 53 weekly pages, the Trading, Budget, Goals and Monthly Reviews pages and 20 notes pages. Switching off sections makes it shorter, and the builder shows the total as you change things.
Set your dates, device and goals, flip through the preview free, and pay only when it's right.
