On the curriculum plan, list each subject, the curriculum you're using and how many lessons it has. Divide by the weeks you plan to teach to get a weekly pace.
They're printed down the side of every homeschool week, so each week is ready for lesson notes without rewriting subjects.
Fill each subject's row for Monday to Friday, and use the field trips and notes box for outings, library days and co-op.
Tick or note lessons as they're done. If a lesson moves, write it into next week rather than erasing it.
The kids' section has homework pages, chore charts, star charts and reading logs that children can fill in themselves.
At the end of each term, compare the curriculum plan with what you actually covered and adjust the pace for the next one. The quarterly reset pages give you room to note what worked for each child.
Homeschool planning covers the parent's plan and the child's work. This one includes:
School-year month and week pages starting in August by default. There are no daily pages, because the weekly homeschool page already plans each day by subject.
A curriculum plan and a homeschool week for every week of the year, with your subjects down the side and a box for field trips and notes.
Homework pages by subject, a monthly chore chart, star charts with a reward, and reading logs your children can fill in.
A reading challenge, to-be-read lists, a reading log and book review pages for family read-alouds.
Goal pages for each child or for the family, with quarterly resets that fit naturally at the end of each term.
Every section can be switched off in the builder, and sections from other planners can be added.
A homeschool planner printable is the most popular choice, because kids can write in their own pages and the plan can sit open on the kitchen table. Print on US Letter or A4, or Half Letter for a disc-bound planner, and print the kids' chore and star charts separately.
A digital homeschool planner suits parents who plan on an iPad: you can duplicate a week's plan when a subject runs over, and you'll never lose the record of what you covered. Many families plan digitally and print the kids' pages.
One goal, followed through a single week. The milestone and weekly actions are the kind of lines the AI goal step writes onto your month and week pages; the daily notes are what you add by hand.

You can build this homeschool planner and flip through every page in your browser for free, with a watermark. The tabs and links work in the preview, so you can check the layout before you pay. Only the goal parts, and only if you want it to. Type up to six goals and the AI writes a milestone for each month and a short action for each week onto your month and week pages, plus a motto for each month. You can edit every line before you download. Everything else, from the calendar pages to the trackers, is yours to fill in by hand. You can try it 3 times a day without an account.
With the default settings it comes to about 258 pages. That includes 12 month pages, 53 weekly pages, the Homeschool, Kids Zone, Reading and Goals pages and 20 notes pages. Switching off daily pages or sections makes it shorter, and the builder shows the total as you change things.
