- Undated, so you can print or duplicate it as often as you need
Who it's for
High school seniors, current college students, graduate students looking for funding, and parents helping a student find aid. School counsellors can hand it to students in a group session, and families with more than one child applying can keep a page per student in the same folder.
Getting the most from a scholarship tracker.
Write requirements in full
Essay length, recommendation letters, transcripts, GPA minimum, interview. Missing one requirement can disqualify an application.
Sort by deadline
Rewrite or number rows by deadline each month so the next one is always at the top.
Reuse essays smartly
Many scholarships ask similar questions. Note which essay you used for each so you can adapt rather than start from scratch.
Don't skip small awards
Smaller local scholarships often have fewer applicants. A few small awards can add up to a lot.
Track aid forms too
Add rows for government and college financial aid forms with their deadlines, not just private scholarships.
Ask for recommendations early
If a scholarship needs a recommendation letter, ask the person at least three to four weeks before the deadline and give them a short summary of the award and your achievements.
