Who it's for

New pet owners, families with several pets, owners of older pets with ongoing treatment, and anyone who uses a pet sitter, kennel or cattery.

How to use it

Getting the most from a pet health record.

  1. Fill in the microchip number

Microchip numbers are hard to find in a panic. Having it written down helps if your pet goes missing.

  2. Write exact food and portions

Brand, type and amount at each meal. Pet sitters and kennels will ask, and it helps your vet track weight.

  3. Log every vet visit

Vaccinations, check-ups, treatments and illnesses. A history makes new problems easier to diagnose.

  4. Use next due for reminders

Vaccines, flea and worm treatments and check-ups repeat. Copy next due dates onto your calendar.

  5. Give a copy to sitters

When you travel, the profile page tells a sitter almost everything they need.

  6. Note weight at each visit

Write your pet's weight in the treatment column at every vet visit. Gradual weight changes are easy to miss and can be an early sign of health problems.
