A lesson plan book with detailed lesson plan templates, unit plans, a year-at-a-glance curriculum map and a standards tracker, plus weekly lesson grids and classroom records.
A lesson planner that starts with the plan, not the paperwork: a year-at-a-glance map by subject, unit plans with a lesson sequence, detailed lesson plan pages with objectives, I do / we do / you do, differentiation and assessment, and a standards tracker. A weekly lesson grid, roster, attendance and gradebook are included too.

Rendered by the same engine that builds yours, in the Bright & Playful theme for iPad portrait, starting in August.

The sample above comes to 204 pages over 12 months. Yours changes with the months, sections and notes pages you choose.

Reuse and improve last year's lessons
On the year-at-a-glance page, write what each subject covers month by month from August to July. Your subjects are printed down the side, so it's a quick sketch rather than a formal document.
Each unit plan has a big idea, essential questions and a week-by-week lesson sequence with standards and assessments. Six unit plans are included in the Lessons tab.
The weekly lesson plan grid (six periods by five days) is where each unit becomes actual lessons. A topic and one key activity per cell is enough.
Use the detailed lesson plan pages for observed lessons, new topics or anything a substitute might teach: objectives, hook, I do, we do, you do, differentiation, assessment and materials.
Tick taught, re-taught and assessed on the standards tracker, and note mastery. Gaps show up in February instead of in May.
Each detailed lesson plan ends with what worked and what to change next time. Next year's planning starts from those notes.
A lesson planner should hold the long view and the day's lesson in the same book. This one includes:
School-year month pages and a weekly page for every week from August. Daily pages are off by default; switch them on for a page per day with a period-by-period lessons table, reminders and a to-grade list.
A year-at-a-glance curriculum map by subject, six unit plans, 24 detailed lesson plan pages and a standards tracker.
A weekly lesson plan grid, 12 more detailed lesson plans, class rosters, seating charts, attendance, gradebooks, a parent contact log and substitute plans.
Professional goals and quarterly resets, useful for appraisal targets or a new curriculum you're rolling out.
Every section can be switched off in the builder, and sections from other planners can be added.
A digital lesson planner lets you duplicate a detailed lesson plan page in GoodNotes when one lesson needs two, copy last year's plans forward, and paste screenshots of slides or worksheets next to the plan.
A printable lesson plan book suits teachers who plan at a desk with a pen. Print the weekly grids and detailed lesson plans on US Letter or A4 and keep them in a binder by unit. Both versions come with one purchase.
One goal, followed through a single week. The milestone and weekly actions are the kind of lines the AI goal step writes onto your month and week pages; the daily notes are what you add by hand.

See all themesThe lesson planner leads with planning: unit plans, a curriculum map, a standards tracker and 36 detailed lesson plan pages. The teacher planner leads with classroom admin and has fewer detailed lesson pages. Both include the weekly lesson grid, roster, attendance and gradebook, and you can add any section to either in the builder.
Subject, class, date, duration, unit, lesson number, standards and key vocabulary at the top, then boxes for learning objectives, hook, direct instruction (I do), guided practice (we do), independent practice (you do), differentiation, assessment and materials, and a short reflection: what worked and what to change next time.
Yes. Type each child's subjects in the builder and use the unit plans and detailed lesson plans the same way. If you'd rather plan the week by subject for several children, the homeschool planner has a weekly page set up for that.
You can build this lesson planner and flip through every page in your browser for free, with a watermark. The tabs and links work in the preview, so you can check the layout before you pay. The clean PDF is $12 once, or included in Pro at $49 a year for unlimited planners. There is no free download of the full planner.
Yes. Download the iPad size for GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf, Xodo, Collanote or ZoomNotes; the Android size for Samsung Notes, Penly, Flexcil or Xodo; or the E-ink size for reMarkable, Kindle Scribe, Boox and Supernote. The links work in any app that follows PDF links, usually in read mode rather than pen mode. Every size is included in the price.
Yes. Choose A5, A4, US Letter or Half Letter in the builder for a printable PDF with a wider inner margin for hole punching. Printable and digital sizes come with the same purchase, so you can use the lesson planner on a tablet and print the pages you want on paper.
It starts in August and runs to July by default. In the builder you can choose any start month and year, including this month so you don't pay for pages that are already past, and a 12 or 18-month length. Switch to undated if you'd rather write the dates yourself.
Only the goal parts, and only if you want it to. Type up to six goals and the AI writes a milestone for each month and a short action for each week onto your month and week pages, plus a motto for each month. You can edit every line before you download. Everything else, from the calendar pages to the trackers, is yours to fill in by hand. You can try it 3 times a day without an account.
Set your dates, device and goals, flip through the preview free, and pay only when it's right.
