On the 40-day tracker, write what you're giving up and what you're taking on.
In 2027 Lent begins on Wednesday 10 February. Day 1 of the journal is Ash Wednesday.
Each daily page has a reading, a reflection prompt, a prayer, an act of kindness and gratitude.
The giving and fasting log records what you fasted from, who you gave to or served, and who you prayed for.
Use the reflections box on the tracker to note what changed over the forty days.
A Lenten journal should support a daily practice without being heavy. This one includes:
Dated month calendars from February to April 2027 and a weekly page for each week, for services, fasting days and Holy Week. No daily calendar pages: the 40 Lent day pages do that job.
A 40-day tracker, 40 daily pages with rotating reflection prompts and two giving and fasting log pages.
Prayer lists, a sermon notes page for every week, S.O.A.P. study pages, scripture memory pages and a Bible reading plan.
Weekly gratitude pages, affirmations and 24 journal pages.
Every section can be switched off in the builder, and sections from other planners can be added.
A digital Lent journal comes with you on a tablet, so you can write during a lunch break or after a service.
Printed on A5, it makes a simple Lenten notebook for a small group or a whole family.
One goal, followed through a single week. The milestone and weekly actions are the kind of lines the AI goal step writes onto your month and week pages; the daily notes are what you add by hand.

No. Each page has a reading field, so you can follow your church's lectionary, a Lent devotional or a reading plan of your choice.

Yes. Choose A5, A4, US Letter or Half Letter in the builder for a printable PDF with a wider inner margin for hole punching. Printable and digital sizes come with the same purchase, so you can use the Lent journal on a tablet and print the pages you want on paper.
By default it starts in February 2027 and runs for 3 months, so it covers the run-up, the season itself and the weeks after. While the season is under way it starts in the current month instead. In the builder you can choose any start month and a length from 3 months to 5 years, or switch to undated.
Only the goal parts, and only if you want it to. Type up to six goals and the AI writes a milestone for each month and a short action for each week onto your month and week pages, plus a motto for each month. You can edit every line before you download. Everything else, from the calendar pages to the trackers, is yours to fill in by hand. You can try it 3 times a day without an account.
With the default settings it comes to about 170 pages. That includes 3 month pages, 13 weekly pages, the Lent Journal, Faith and Gratitude & Journal pages and 20 notes pages. Switching off sections makes it shorter, and the builder shows the total as you change things.
Set your dates, device and goals, flip through the preview free, and pay only when it's right.
