Notice my recurring dreams
Leave the tablet or a printed page by the bed and write before you check your phone.
Scribble the dream as it comes back, even fragments. Fill in the date, bedtime and sleep quality after.
Three boxes under each dream make it easier to spot recurring themes later.
There's a field for whether you knew you were dreaming, if you're practising lucid dreaming.
Read the month's dreams and note patterns on the monthly review. The sleep log adds context.
A dream journal needs to be quick to fill in when you're half awake. This one includes:
Twelve undated month pages for marking which nights you recorded. No weekly or daily pages, so every page is for dreams.
90 dream log pages with fields for date, bedtime, lucidity and sleep quality, the dream, people, places, feelings and what it might mean.
A monthly sleep log.
A monthly review for spotting recurring dreams and themes.
Every section can be switched off in the builder, and sections from other planners can be added.
A digital dream journal in the dark Midnight theme is gentle on the eyes first thing in the morning, and an e-ink tablet has no glowing screen at all.
A printed dream log by the bed with a pen is the simplest version. Print a month of pages on A5.
One goal, followed through a single week. The milestone and weekly actions are the kind of lines the AI goal step writes onto your month and week pages; the daily notes are what you add by hand.

The default Midnight theme is dark, which is easier on the eyes first thing in the morning or at night.

Only the goal parts, and only if you want it to. Type up to six goals and the AI writes a milestone for each month and a short action for each week onto your month and week pages, plus a motto for each month. You can edit every line before you download. Everything else, from the calendar pages to the trackers, is yours to fill in by hand. You can try it 3 times a day without an account.
With the default settings it comes to about 151 pages. That includes 12 month pages, the Dream Journal, Sleep and Monthly Reviews pages and 20 notes pages. Switching off sections makes it shorter, and the builder shows the total as you change things.
