Notion digital planner: your goals and habits, sent to Notion
Keep the handwritten planner on your tablet and the checklist in Notion. We create a Notion database in your own workspace with every goal, monthly milestone, weekly action and habit from your planner, each with a date and a Done box. It isn't a template you duplicate: it's built from your plan.
Free to build and preview. Sending to Notion works once the planner is unlocked: $12 for one planner, or any plan.

How it works, in three steps.
- 1
Plan goals and habits
In the builder, plan up to six goals with AI and choose your habits. Dated planners also put a date on every milestone and weekly action.
- 2
Connect Notion
In Notion, make an internal integration, copy its secret and connect it to the page that should hold the database. The Send to Notion window walks you through it.
- 3
Send it
In My planners, choose Send to Notion, paste the secret and the page link, and send. The database appears inside that page, usually within a minute or two.
What it does, and what it doesn't.
It does
- Creates a database with six columns: Item, Goal, Type, Period, Date and Done
- Adds a row for each goal, monthly milestone, weekly action and habit
- Tags each row as Goal, Monthly milestone, Weekly action or Habit, in different colours
- Dates milestones to the 1st of their month and weekly actions to the start of their week (dated planners only)
- Uses your Notion integration secret once, for that send, and doesn't store it
- Offers a CSV file with the same columns, for Notion's import, Google Sheets or Airtable
It doesn't
- Stay in sync. It's a one-time copy: later edits in the planner or in Notion don't carry across. Send again for a fresh database
- Tick boxes in your PDF when you tick Done in Notion, or the other way round
- Copy handwriting, journal pages or anything written in your notes app
- Give you a dashboard template with formulas or linked views. You get one plain database to shape as you like
- Send more than 600 rows at once. A 12-month planner with six goals fits comfortably
Connecting Notion, step by step.
- Open notion.so/profile/integrations and choose New integration.
- Pick your workspace, set the type to Internal, name it something like “Planner” and save.
- Copy the Internal integration secret. New secrets start with ntn_; older ones start with secret_.
- Open the Notion page that should hold your planner, select the ••• menu, then Connections, and add the integration you just made.
- In My planners, choose Send to Notion on your planner, paste the secret and the page link, and select Send to Notion.
Rows go in one at a time, because Notion limits how fast an integration can write, so a full year takes a minute or two. If the connection drops part way, look at the page before you try again: some rows may already be there.
You can delete the integration in Notion at any time. The database stays where it is.
Device notes.
Notion on any device
The database lives in your Notion workspace, so it's on Notion's web, desktop and mobile apps.
iPad
Write in the planner in GoodNotes or Notability, and keep Notion beside it for ticking things off.
Android tablets
The same pairing works with Samsung Notes or Penly for the planner and the Notion app for the checklist.
Team or company workspaces
Your workspace may limit who can add integrations. If you can't make one, use the CSV file instead.
Questions people ask
Is this a Notion planner template?
Not in the usual sense. A Notion template is a page you duplicate and fill in yourself. Here, you build a hyperlinked PDF planner, and we create a Notion database that's already filled with your goals, milestones, weekly actions and habits.
Is my Notion secret safe?
We use it once to create the database and its rows, then discard it. It isn't saved to your account. The integration can only see pages you connect it to, and you can delete it in Notion afterwards.
Will ticking Done in Notion update my planner?
No. The planner is a PDF on your device and the database is a copy in Notion. They don't talk to each other after the send.
Can I send it again after changing my goals?
Yes. Each send makes a new database, so archive or delete the old one. You can send up to 10 times a day.
Do habits get dates?
No. Habits are added with the period “Daily” and no date, so you can track them in Notion however you like.
Do I need a dated planner?
No. Undated planners send everything except the dates. Calendar sync is the part that needs a dated planner.
How much does it cost?
The builder, AI planning and the preview are free. Sending to Notion needs the planner unlocked: $12 for that planner, or included in Pro ($49 a year) and Seller.
