1. About the programme
The Custom Digital Planner affiliate programme pays you a commission when people you refer buy from customdigitalplanner.com. These terms sit alongside our general terms of service and privacy policy. By joining, you agree to all three.
You need a Custom Digital Planner account to join. You're an independent promoter, not our employee, agent or partner, and you can't make promises or sign anything on our behalf.
2. What you earn
- You earn 30% of the amount the customer actually pays, after any discount and excluding sales tax or VAT.
- One-off purchases (single planners, the hyperlink tool) and gifts earn commission once.
- Pro and Seller subscriptions earn commission on each payment made in the first 12 months from the start of the customer's subscription.
- When someone clicks your link, we remember it for 60 days in that browser. If they click another affiliate's link afterwards, the most recent click counts.
- If they make an account while your link is remembered, that account stays linked to you, so later purchases count too.
- You can't earn commission on your own purchases, including through a second account or a household member's account set up to get around this rule.
- Free purchases, gift codes being redeemed and anything paid with a 100% discount earn nothing.
Our records of clicks, sign-ups and sales decide what you've earned. If something looks wrong, tell us within 60 days and we'll look into it.
3. Refunds and chargebacks
Each commission is held as pending for 30 days. If the sale is refunded or the customer disputes the payment with their bank (a chargeback), the commission is void and isn't paid.
If a sale is refunded or charged back after we've already paid you for it, we deduct that commission from your next payout.
4. Payouts
- After the 30-day hold, commissions become approved.
- We pay approved earnings once a month, by PayPal, to the email address on your affiliate dashboard. Payouts are made in US dollars.
- The minimum payout is $25. Smaller balances roll over to the next month.
- You're responsible for giving us a correct PayPal address. We can't recover money sent to an address you gave us by mistake.
- You're responsible for any taxes on your earnings. We may ask for tax information before paying you, where the law requires it.
- PayPal fees or currency conversion charged on your side are yours.
5. How you may promote us
Recommend us honestly, in your own words, to people who'd find planners useful. Always make it clear that you earn a commission, as the law in many countries requires (for example, “I earn a commission if you buy through my link”).
You must not:
- Bid on our brand in paid search. No Google, Bing or other search ads on “Custom Digital Planner”, “customdigitalplanner”, our domain or misspellings of them, and no ads that send people straight to our site through your link.
- Spam. No unsolicited email, direct messages, comment spam, forum spam or posting your link where it isn't welcome.
- Post fake reviews or make misleading claims. Don't invent reviews or results, claim to be us or speak for us, or promise features, prices or discounts we don't offer.
- Abuse coupon or deal sites. Don't post your link or made-up discount codes on coupon, voucher, cashback or deal sites, or browser extensions that insert affiliate links.
- Use cookie stuffing, pop-ups, hidden links, bots or any trick that sets your link without a real click.
- Promote us on sites with illegal, hateful, adult or misleading content.
- Register domains or social accounts that include our name.
6. Suspending or ending your account
If you break these terms, we may pause your affiliate account, void commissions earned through the breach and remove you from the programme. Where the breach is minor and fixable, we'll usually ask you to fix it first.
You can leave at any time by emailing hello@customdigitalplanner.com. We'll pay approved earnings over the minimum in the next monthly payout.
7. Changes to the programme
We may change these terms, the commission rate, the payout rules or end the programme at any time. We'll tell affiliates by email at least 14 days before a change that reduces what you earn takes effect. Commissions already approved before a change or the end of the programme are still paid under the rules that applied when they were earned.
8. Liability
We provide the programme as it is, and don't guarantee any level of sales or that tracking will never fail. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under the programme is limited to the commissions you earned in the 12 months before the claim.
